Dianne Salerni : Writer of Teen and Middle Grade Fiction | I Wasn’t …

I Wasn’t …

I wasn’t …

hanging from the artwork

drinking milk out of Bob’s cereal bowl

climbing the curtains

knocking  books off the shelf

rubbing my butt on Gina’s homework

licking the plates in the sink.

I didn’t …luna-in-the-bookshelves

walk across Dianne’s laptop and delete a page of her manuscript

stick my whole head in Marie’s glass of soda water (the bubbles were startling, but then I kind of liked them)

unlock the front door

steal Bob’s sunglasses

take the drain stopper out of the sink and carry it down the hall

photobomb Dianne’s Skype visit with a classroom

sneak into Sorcia’s Cone of Shame while she was sleeping and terrorize her.

Yes, she did.

Yes, she did.

  1. Guilty as charged!
Surprised she didn’t get her head stuck in the glass.

  2. Lol! She’s quite the rascal, isn’t she?

  3. Tiana Smith says:

I keep thinking I should get a cat … liven things up around here! 😉

  4. What a trouble maker. And adorable. Boy, she really wanted to get down to those bubbles!

  5. J E Oneil says:

Look at that poor doggie. She’s very obviously going “The cat totally did all that to me!!!”

    What a rambunctious little kitty.

  6. mshatch says:

LOL. What an awesome cat. See how she entertains us and earns her keep?

  7. Gina says:

    She’s such a cute troublemaker.

  8. Hilary says:

Hi Dianne – she was and she did, and no doubt will continue causing cat-havoc, that always has us laughing … loved the photos and the escapades – cheers Hilary

  9. Lexa Cain says:

Haha! Hilarious! Cute black kitty is a little devil and since it’s October, it her month to roar! Have a great week, Dianne!

  10. ChemistKen says:

Don’t believe anything they say. Cats are such liars. They’re cute, and they can look so innocent sometimes, but trust me, they lie all the time.

  11. LOL! Oh my. Mischief, thy name is Cat!

  12. Anna says:

Ha! There is always a tattletale. 🙂

    Anna from elements of emaginette

  13. Haha, what a little stinkerhead! Though deleting the ms page…ouch!

  14. HA! Our cats “don’t” do those all of those things, too. They sure do keep things interesting, don’t they?

  15. What a character! At least she keeps life interesting…. I know, my puppy keeps me going, too!

  16. Julia Tomiak says:

Hilarious and very creative! You must be a writer! 😉

  17. Cynthia says:

It feels like your cat’s adventures (and denials of them) would make an interesting picture book.

  18. Oh, someone’s been a bad, bad kitty!

Did she get a time out?

Sometimes it seems like cats spend most of their day sleeping, and the rest of it looking for trouble.

  19. Elise Fallson says:

LoL! I have three ‘I didn’ts’ and they can be frustratingly cute. Poor Sorcia! 🙂

  20. RO says:

These are so fun! I remember having a Persian Cat called Mini-Me, who really was a character. She trained me to get up on time to feed her, greeted at the door, and surprised every time I tried to read a book. What would we do without our furry friends? (lol)

  21. Yeah, that’s definitely a cat. ^_^ I don’t have any pets, but if I did, I’d have a cat. Sometimes I wonder if one’s just going to show up at my door and move in.
