It’s a gloomy, gray day in Pennsylvania — the perfect weather for the launch of Eleanor, Alice, and the Roosevelt Ghosts!
Buried family secrets. Vengeful ghosts. Two very different cousins.
Launching a book in 2020 is very different from my previous experiences. No launch party. No in-person festivals, conferences, or school visits. I don’t even have a physical copy of the book in my hand today, thanks to the disruption of the postal service. It’s difficult to look at my last blog post from February and see how hopeful I was that 2020 was going to be an exciting year. (Well, it was, but not in the way I thought …)
Nevertheless, I’m here. You’re here. My book is out there. AND I’ve been honored by the Junior Library Guild making The Roosevelt Ghosts a Gold Standard Selection. Revisions and edits are complete for my next book, Jadie in Five Dimensions, which comes out next year.
Happy reading to you all ~ and may all your ghosts be Friendlies!
Congrats!
Your next book! Congratulations.
Congratulations Dianne – so pleased for you … and to be selected as a Gold Standard Edition – that’s brilliant. It does sound an ideal book for young readers … and which ghost might they become. Great fun and all the best … take care – Hilary
